Completion programs are for students who already possess a certificate or an associate’s degree, while the entry-level clinical programs are for fresh high-school graduates who wish to enroll for a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program. During the last two years, students are required to hold dental hygiene clinics as part of the requirements of the program.
The Master of Science in Dental Hygiene program is similar to a bachelor’s degree however students in this program are required to finish a thesis. Graduates with this degree excel in the field of research and education. The courses included in this program include issues in higher education and research, clinical dental instruction, pain control and more. Students enjoy some flexibility in this course since they can tailor the program to meet the specific needs in their careers.
